Terra-Classic.io: Community Input Needed

Terra Classic has always relied on its community to move forward.

We’re currently looking to improve terra-classic.io, and it makes sense to open that process to everyone.

What the site should become

The idea behind terra-classic.io is simple: provide a useful entry point into the ecosystem.

That includes:

  • clear access to projects and resources

  • documentation that actually helps

  • something usable for newcomers

  • better visibility for what the community is building

There’s still a lot to improve, and that’s where broader input becomes important.

Looking for feedback and ideas

If you’ve used the site and noticed something that could be better, or if you have ideas that could make it more useful, feel free to share.

It can be anything:

  • interface issues

  • missing content

  • features that would be useful

  • better ways to organize information

  • tools or integrations that make sense

No need for a perfect proposal even rough ideas are useful.

GitHub is open

The site is open-source, so contributions are not limited to suggestions.

If you’re comfortable with GitHub terra-classic.io · GitHub , you can:

  • open issues

  • suggest changes

  • submit pull requests

And if you’re not, you can still participate by sharing feedback or discussing ideas.

Why this matters

Improving the site is not just about design or content.

It affects how people discover Terra Classic, how easy it is to understand, and how projects are presented.

So if you’ve been thinking “this could be better” at some point, this is a good time to say it.

Hello, opening terra-classic.io to community feedback is a vital step toward decentralization. To maximize the site’s potential as the ecosystem’s ‘front door,’ I believe the following practical enhancements would be highly beneficial:

Dynamic Ecosystem Map: One of the current gaps is a centralized view of active projects. We should implement a categorized directory (DeFi, NFT, Infrastructure, Tooling) showing which projects are live on mainnet versus those in the testnet phase.

Comprehensive ‘Onboarding’ Guide: For newcomers, we need a visual, step-by-step ‘Getting Started’ section. This should cover the essentials: ‘How to set up Station Wallet?’, ‘How to stake LUNC?’, and ‘How to participate in Governance?’

Developer Resource Hub (Dev Hub): Beyond basic documentation, we need a dedicated tab containing direct links to the latest SDKs, active API endpoints, and smart contract boilerplates. This is crucial for attracting and retaining new builders.

Transparency & Data Dashboard: Integrating a live dashboard on the homepage showing critical metrics—such as total LUNC burned, current staking ratio, and active governance proposals—would significantly boost the site’s credibility and utility.

Multi-language Support: Terra Classic has a global community. Initial localization into the most active languages (Turkish, Korean, Spanish, etc.) would drastically lower the barrier to entry for non-English speakers.

I am ready to provide technical support via GitHub as well. I truly believe this platform should evolve from a simple info site into a living, breathing portal for the entire community.

Our suggestion: Add a CMS and give authoring access to project owners, validators, ecosystem partners and builders to post their own news & articles on the website posting from their own account in certain categories

That would be a cool feature and makes the website interactive and adds content & possibly a good source of traffic
