:bullseye: Objective:

To revive the Luna Classic (LUNC) ecosystem — not just in price, but by rebuilding its core technology, tokenomics, and trust.

:one: Modernize the Chain — “Codebase Refactor & Compatibility Layer”

LUNC currently runs on an outdated Cosmos SDK version (many nodes still on v0.45.x or earlier).

First step:

  • Upgrade to Cosmos SDK v0.50+

  • Migrate Tendermint Core → CometBFT (for improved consensus and IBC stability)

  • Ensure full IBC v6+ compatibility for interchain connectivity

Why it matters:

Modern DeFi protocols and dApps require updated SDK support. The current chain is basically “frozen in old tech.”

:two: Tokenomics Reset — “Deflation + Utility Fusion”

LUNC’s supply (~6.8 trillion) makes pure burn mechanics unsustainable.

  • Dual-token model:
    LUNC (governance & staking) + new utility token (e.g. LUNA-U)

  • Smart burn logic:

    • 30% of gas fees → auto-burn LUNC

    • 20% → community pool (for funding)

    • 50% → validator rewards

  • Mandatory LUNC usage for all on-chain actions: swaps, NFT minting, oracle payments

:three: Smart Contract Layer — “TerraVM”

LUNC’s smart layer is based on CosmWasm.

Next step:

  • Introduce TerraVM — a hybrid layer combining CosmWasm + EVM compatibility
    → Enables Ethereum smart contracts to run on LUNC.

  • Cross-chain deploys: same contract could run on both LUNC and Osmosis.

  • Implement Wasm sandbox isolation to reduce exploit risk.

:light_bulb: An interoperable smart layer is key to attracting new developers.

:four: Governance & DAO Revamp

Governance is too fragmented right now.

  • On-chain DAO: LunaCoreDAO

    • Automatic funding module: approved proposals trigger direct treasury transfers

    • Transparent project system with on-chain reputation scores

  • Require technical audits for any governance proposal that includes code or smart contracts.

:five: Ecosystem Incentive Program — “Reignite Grants”

Without builders, the chain dies.

Plan:

  • Establish a $10M LUNC Treasury Fund (funded via burns + staking rewards)

  • Use it to support:

    • DeFi, NFT, and GameFi projects

    • Developer hackathons

    • Terra Classic University (training & certification program)

:six: Security & Monitoring — “Guardian Framework”

To enhance network safety:

  • Real-time validator monitoring API

  • Fork detection bot (integrated with Discord/Twitter alerts)

  • Slashing 2.0: penalize validators based on damage caused, not just percentages.
