I would like to politely request that the owners / maintainers of terra-classic.io publish the available analytics for the website.
Why this information should be public
Because the website received its canonical position through governance, its reach and performance are relevant to the community.
Publishing the underlying analytics would allow everyone to evaluate that performance using actual data rather than assumptions.
1. Google Analytics / GA4
If Google Analytics / GA4 has been used, I believe its data should form the minimum expected disclosure.
Please provide the most complete historical reporting available, including:
- total users / active users
- new users
- sessions
- views / page views
- engaged sessions
- engagement rate
- average engagement time
- bounce rate, where available
- users and sessions over time
- new vs. returning users
- traffic acquisition by source / medium
- default channel groups
- referral traffic
- organic search traffic
- direct traffic
- social traffic
- campaign / UTM traffic, where applicable
- landing pages
- most visited pages / content
- entry and exit behaviour, where available
- geographic distribution by country
- device categories
- browser / operating system statistics
- events
- key events / conversions, if configured
- outbound-link clicks, if tracked
- downloads, if tracked
- retention data, if available
Where technically available, it would also be useful to show traffic originating from important Terra Classic discovery points such as CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, exchanges, wallets, ecosystem websites and other major referral sources.
Google Analytics reporting format
Please provide more than manually transcribed headline numbers.
Ideally this should include:
- detailed screenshots / snapshots of the relevant GA4 reports, with the date range and applied filters visible;
- native GA4 exports, such as CSV or PDF where available;
- historical charts showing traffic and engagement over time;
- acquisition, engagement, content and retention reports where data exists.
The intention is to make the underlying analytics available for independent community review rather than presenting only selected metrics.
2. Google Search Console
If Google Search Console is connected to the domain, please also provide the available historical performance data, including:
- Google Search clicks
- impressions
- click-through rate
- average search position
- search queries
- landing pages
- country distribution
- device distribution
- performance over time
3. Cloudflare / Hosting / CDN Analytics
If Cloudflare, the hosting provider, CDN or other infrastructure services provide analytics, please publish the relevant available data from those systems as well.
For example:
- unique visitors
- requests
- page views
- bandwidth
- referral sources
- geographic distribution
- traffic over time
- bot / crawler traffic versus human traffic, where distinguishable
- relevant performance / availability statistics
4. Other Analytics
Please also disclose whether any additional analytics or measurement platforms are currently used or have previously been used for terra-classic.io, for example:
- Plausible
- Matomo
- Umami
- Fathom
- Bing Webmaster Tools
- hosting-provider analytics
- CDN analytics
- internal analytics
- campaign / link analytics
- other traffic-measurement systems
If such data exists, please include the available historical reports from those platforms as well.
5. Analytics Coverage and Data Gaps
To make the reports properly understandable, please also clarify:
- when analytics collection started;
- which analytics systems have been used;
- what historical period is available;
- whether analytics were ever disabled;
- whether analytics properties were replaced or reset;
- whether historical data has been lost;
- whether there are significant gaps in measurement;
- whether tracking configuration changed materially;
- which filters are applied;
- whether known bot or internal traffic is excluded.
If Google Analytics was never installed, or historical GA data is no longer available, simply stating this clearly would be sufficient. The same applies to any other analytics system.
Why this matters
The objective is straightforward: to understand how much traffic the governance-designated Terra Classic website receives, where that traffic comes from, how people use the website, and how its reach has developed over time.
This is useful ecosystem information and should be evaluated from complete first-party analytics rather than estimates or selected headline numbers.
Request to the maintainers
Could the maintainers of terra-classic.io (@StrathCole @Hexxagon @webjojo) please:
- confirm which analytics systems have been used;
- confirm what historical data is available;
- publish the detailed Google Analytics / GA4 reports and snapshots available;
- publish the relevant data from Search Console and any other analytics platforms;
- identify any significant gaps or limitations in the available data.
If compiling everything requires some time, an initial response confirming which analytics platforms and historical periods are available would already be helpful.
